Rogue Valley history mentioned in:

"Clubfoot," pg. 17

This recounts the hunting of a grizzly bear, called Clubfoot, which ranged from Klamath, the Siskiyou Mountains, Ashland, and Crater Lake. He was eventually killed by William Wright and Pearl Bean.

"Taking the Rogue," pg. 53

This is an abbreviated retelling of the Rogue River War and its beginning.
