Folder 6. A print out of the account by Rollin Reese Jones written May 20, 1988. Jones ' father, Evan Rees Jones from 1921-1925 operated the Log Cabin Service Station at the summit of the Siskiyou Mountains on Highway 99. This account says the the author and his brother Donald say they saw and talked with DeAutramont brothers camped up on the mountain.. When the Tunnel 13 attempted robbery took place, Rollin and Donald and classmates were questioned by the police on October 11, 1923.. When Rollin and Donald recalled seeing and talking to DeAutremont brothers they told the police what they had seen.
