The “Playwrights Walk” is a new series of art installations that will celebrate Ashland's rich and dynamic theater culture. This massive ten-year art project was initiated by Barry and Kathryn Thalden, then embraced by many in the community. Two plaques have been installed as of July 2025. The goal is an astounding 100 Playwrights Walk plaques around town by the 100thanniversary of Oregon Shakespeare Festival in 2035!
