December 24, 1927 to December 14, 2020. Ruth was born and grew up in Janesville, Wisconsin, and started classes at the Chicago Institute of Art. After moving to California, she got her art degree and married Bob Schubert. After living in Hawaii, the couple moved to Medford in 1986 where she was the director of Art du Jour Gallery for several years. Her art is in several museums and in the possession of many Presidents and famous people.
