May 30, 1948--June 6, 2025. Kathy was born in California, and moved to Ashland to study at Southern Oregon University. Her specialty and passion was special education and she taught is four Ashland elementary schools and SOSTIC. She married Ted Loftus in 1996 Kathy loved people and made friends everywhere, while also loving cooking, canning, crafting, and camping.
