Ann Curry: A top-tier journalist with roots in Southern Oregon

Paul Fattig is a local journalist who was with Ann Curry in a University of Oregon journalism class.  She had graduated from Ashland High in 1974, and became a NBC correspondent as well as on the Today show. She thanked the university for teaching her "to serve the public with integrity, courage, and heart.   She says growing up in Southern Oregon left her with deep appreciation for the arts and intellectual curiosity.
