compiled by Ernel  E Stearms, Ashland, Or 1978  David and Fidelia Stearns were 1853 pioneers of Southern Oregon. Charlotte Emily Stearns Pengra and her sister, Velina Asenath Stearns Willams were on the same wagon train in 1853 and wrote their impressions of the trip from Illinois to Oregon
