Impressions of Fred Lockley: Major Carl A Theobald

In 1928 Major Theobald was a resident of Ashland.  He had lived a very exciting life which started when he worked for the Solax company and became involved with the first moving pictures.  He moved to Hollywood for awhile where he worked with the technical side of movies, then he traveled all over the world.  He photographed wildlife in Africa and worked on many films.  After some time in the hospital for sleeping sickness, he continued to work for Hollywood.
