Impressions of Fred Lockley of Rev. Claiborne Hill

Dr. Hilll was a founder of a Baptist school for ministers.  As a boy he lived in many places including Ashland where his father built a saw mill on Bear Creek in 1849.  The high waters in 1861 and 1862 washed it away.
