Mitzi Asai Loftus, 91, was 9 years old in 1942 when she and six family members were sent from thier Hood River, OR, to camps for Japanese Americans in California where they spent three years during World War II. Now in Ashland, she has revised her memoir "From Thorns to Blossoms."
