The Pacific coast states are outstanding for the rapid growth of the Camp Fire Girl movement. In the fall of 1926 Jacksonville and Ashland organized groups under the leadership of Miss Caatherine Parsons. Then in Ashland, seven groups were formed, two in the grade schools, three in Junior High, and two groups in the high school.
