December 3, 1931 to May 2, 2023 Ellis and his wife Millis moved to Ashland in 1962 after he earned his Associate's degree in electronics. He founded his own firm Ashland Insurance in 1981, and he retired in January 2000 to become Mr.Fix Anything. He was known for his great sense of humor and his ability to make everyone laugh or smile.
