Construction work is in progress for three Jackson county Fire districts 5 stations. This is the first big upgrade since 2003 and the Almeda Fire. The project includes the Neil Creek Station No. 2, a training center north of Talent on Highway 99, and a new public safety building in downtown Phoenix next to Station No. 3.
