Sshane Ross had been struggling to pay rent on the 3,800 sq.foot space on sixth street that was formerly the American Cancer Society thrift store. Rockafairy started in a back room at Tom's Guitars, and soon included instruments people donated to families that needed a rental. Then he started to rent out rehearsal space which was desperately needed.
