Friends and family gathered at Don Jones Memorial Park to unveil a memorial to a Central Point city councilor who went on to be a state representative and Oregon secretary of state. He was a humble man who believed in service to God, Country, and Oregonians. During the VietNam war he flew helicopters into battle areas where there was agent Orange, a possible source for the brain cancer that killed him.
