MMT November 20222, Obituary, Kurt grew up in the East, but after he and his wife Valerie graduated from Boston University, they moved West to Klamath Falls where he became news director of the radio station, then KOTI the television station, KATU television in Portland. He became communication specialist for the US Forest service, and then public affairs officer in Medford for the BLM. He volunteered on various boards and organizations.
