Information on back of photo: "This is our car in front and Vick's in back. His new one. That is Vick and tiny man and Audry. Henry, with his rodeo shirt on. Dee said it looked like your old Plymouth Hens. Ha ha.
Also on photo, source unknown: "Vic Zboralski, Henry Reid"
Note from relative sent to SOHS in an email, 2018: "
Victor Zboralski (hat), and Henry Reid are the seated men. Persons from left to right are: Audrey Reid (daughter of Henry Reid), "tiny man" is Edward Zboralski sitting on the lap of his dad Victor Zboralski, and Henry Reid. Delia Zboralski (wife of Victor) I presume is taking the photograph.
Victor Zboralski and Henry Reid married sisters Delia Clarkson, and Carrie Clarkson respectively. There was also a third sister Glennie Clarkson that was an identical twin
to Delia. Glennie married 'Red' Bilderback, fire chief, and lived out by Emigrant Lake. I estimate the year of this picture to be 1925 a few years before Victor moved to Van Ness Avenue from their Emigrant Lake homestead.
Henry Reid was full blooded Alaskan native. Henry and Carrie had another child, Chester Reid not pictured (not born yet I presume). Henry died young, not sure if he is buried in Ashland or not. Chester died in Tacoma in the 1980's. Audrey I believe passed in Portland.
Victor, Dee, and Edward are buried at the Dunn Hill 'paupers' cemetery by Emigrant near their original homestead. There are rudiments of foundations -if I remember correctly- of their 2 cabins just before the bridge on the right of 66, where Emigrant Creek flows into Emigrant Lake. The Zboralski family plot is a large black stone on the far side, and slightly downhill of the Dunn Hill entrance gate, in the nook of the L shaped cemetery. The Bilderback stone is there too, covered in ivy.
