"Spectators will see the Air Force missile story told in slides and films while standing inside an actual ICBM." "A display case of large scale models shows the growth of missiles from Thor to Titan IIIC. A three-dimensional diorama shows the underground complex of a Titan ICBM site." All Project Gemini flights were made with the Titan II. (Ashland Tidings, December 2, 1965, page 10)

The airplane on display is the Navy version of the Lockheed Electra L-188 airliner, the P-3 Orion anti-submarine and surveillance craft. The boom on the tail was used for magnetic detection of submarines.
