See following article, from Medford Mail Tribune, March 5, 1965, page 10: Coconut Meat Free at Rogue River Craft Shop Monday     Those who like fresh coconut meat are invited to call at Novelcraft Plastics, 431 Rogue River Hwy., beginning Monday morning and to "help themselves to all they want at no charge," Lew Trickey, owner of the shop, said today.     Trickey is expecting a shipment of 3,500 pounds of coconuts to arrive this weekend from San Francisco. They are "fresh from the tropics," he said.     The husks are used in his novelcraft business--but not the meat.     Trickey reminded those who want the meat to bring their own containers and tools to dig it out of the husks. The meat keeps well and freezes well, he said.
