Police Riot Training Miles Field

Police and Sheriff deputies at Miles Field, practicing riot control with batons; advertising visible on ball park fences. Oregon State Police Captain Byron Hazelton conducted a three-day mob control school in Medford. Police attended from Medford, Ashland, Klamath County Sheriffs, Kingsley Air Force base, and Jackson County sheriff’s office. They conducted the same school in Eugene, Corvallis, Astoria and Pendleton. Some of the Medford police shown are Sgt.
