This lovely doll belonged to Amalia ‘Mollie’ Britt, daughter of Jacksonville painter, photographer and horticulturalist, Peter Britt. Mollie was born in 1865. Her well preserved doll has a cloth body and is dressed entirely in her original clothing dating to the 1870s.
