Otto Frohnmayer helped to establish the Rogue Valley Medical Center, Mercy Flights, the first Medford Arts Council. He served on the Medford School Board and committess for downtown Medford, YMCA and United Way. He was a Director for the Oregon Community Foundation. Frohnmayer donated his office building to the Rogue VAlley Art Association. It was purchased by the Craterian Board and is now the Craterian Theater. The lobby is named the Frohnmayer Lobby. He also donated six acres to Medford, and they are now the Donahue-Frohnmayer Park. Frohnmayer was praised as a "standard for an old-fashioned ideal of citizenship." Sources: SOHS Vertical file, So.
