The SOHS Library is OPEN to the public at 106 N. Central Avenue in Medford, with FREE access to the SOHS Archives, from 12:00 - 4:00 pm, Tuesday through Saturday. Appointments are not necessary. Please contact library@sohs.org, or call 541-622-2025 ex 200 to ask questions or request research.

Although the Mega Index includes entries from a source called "Music Index," a search for those records does not give a complete list of sheet music in the SOHS collection. 
This list is intended as a supplementary resource and a page where additional materials may be entered as they are found.

2006.22.1, M51 A6: Sheet Music. "Ashland Beautiful" words and music by Henry George Gilmore Circa 1916. One large sheet of folded paper, making 4 pages. Photograph on the cover of  cars parked at Lithia Park in Ashland, OR. Song dedicated to "my good friend John M. Scott, General Passenger Agent Southern Pacific Portland, OR."

Slogan "Ashland Grows while lithia flows" by Mrs. O. Winter. Back cover has information about Ashland, OR , Crater Lake National Park and Josephine County Caves. Printers, Sweeney, Varney, & Straus, Portland.
Gilmore was a music teacher in Ashland, credited with writing other music also.
Fred Haight wrote 'Crater Lake March' and ‘Beautiful Rogue River Valley’ . Don't know if we have them in the collection
Gordon Solie Oregon Music Collection, at Oregon Historical Society Research Library, probably includes sheet music pertaining to southern Oregon
