Bustling Community of Mugginsville Becomes a Ghost Town

Quartz Valley once had a thriving mining community called Mugginsville that served a region adjacent to Scott Valley in Siskiyou Country, Calif. It is believed Mugginsville was named after a card game called Muggins.
