Tree of Heaven Resurrected as a Table

Around the time Ashland, Ore., was being settled in the 1850s, a sapling took root near the town’s flour mill. By 2006 the tree had become a two-story landmark facing Pioneer Plaza at the entrance to Lithia Park.
