Rice's book, brought in Jacksonville, Oregon on Jan7th, 1867) Family Records between Old and New Testament for David M. Rice, son of Benjamin B. and Eliza Rice was married to Mary J. Very large Blck-covered Holy Bible includes Apocrypha chapters with the words "Mary Baldwin" engraved in gold on the front cover. Published by Harper & Bros, 1846. Inside cover has handwritten signature "Mary Roberts Higgins" ; inside cover has pasted clipping of John Roberts to Hattie Baldwin and John Million to Sarah Baldwin marriages from the newspaper weddings on the same day. Loose papers found in Bible all together in plastic sleeve include Obit for Franklin T. Roberts 1883; handwritten genealogy sheet about John P. Roberts, Hattie Baldwin, Sarah Walker, Fred Higgins and others (names no dates)
