Med Success article 10-31-1902, Henry Voegeli returned to Medford from the Dalles. He served three years and seven months in a Misouri regiment in the Union army and was in serveral of the hardest fought battles. In 1847 he also served in the Swiss liberal army when it overthrew the old conservative government of Switzerland.
