Frain, Martin, and 2 other men, with animal skins, in Beswick, Calif, 9-23-1900 (Martin Frain came to California by sailing ship in 1849 by way of Cape Horn from Detroit. He was perhaps the first individual Indian trader in the Klamath River area.
