The farm was in Siskiyou County, on Dutch Creek, a tributary of Elliott Creek. This is over 10 miles from the Applegate dam. It was subsequently occupied by the Knutzens, descendants of an early Thompson Creek family, as reflected in the attached USGS map (annotated).
NOTE: The attached image shows the location, it is not SOHS 4399.
