E. V. Carter House

Story and a half; broad horizontal lines, curved gable ends, a stone foundation and chimney of stone and brick. Rafter ends have Craftsman detail, leaded glass sidelights; central gable has low pitched roof; dormer projects toward street and small bays project at the rear of the house; lap siding; deep eave overhang with exposed rafters. Large single light windows with one-over-one double hung windows also used.
